Rock N Roll Rescue is breaking barriers to music education in Charleston. Through our partnership with the Charleston County School District, we provide instruments and support to kids ages 9–14—especially those in underserved schools and neighborhoods.
Unlike loaner programs, every child we serve owns their instrument. That means the music doesn’t stop when school does—kids can play at home, on weekends, and all summer long.
Your donation puts instruments directly into the hands of Lowcountry kids, giving them the chance to discover their talent, build confidence, and keep the music alive.
We connect kids and instruments to make music across the Charleston area.
Bunky Odom’s music industry legacy began by promoting beach music bands in the Carolina Foothills. His legendary career as the Vice President of Phil Walden & Associates progressed to guiding groups like the Allman Brothers Band and the Marshall Tucker Band to success. Bunky's music-driven friends, from Macon to Charleston, help him reach his goal of making sure that kids who want to play can own an instrument.
